LSH Bus Service is located approximately 60 miles southwest from Minneapolis-St. Paul in and have been a 4.0 community since July, 2009.
The city of Le Sueur is located in both Le Sueur County and Sibley County on the Minnesota River. The Green Giant Company, formerly the Minnesota Canning Company, was originated in Le Sueur and is known locatlly as the "Valley of the Jolly Green Giant". Le Sueur is home to many parks and recreational areas, including activities such as canoeing the Minnesota River.
Henderson is located in Sibley County and has many fun activities to do throughout the year such as: Heritage Days, Eskimo Day, the Hummingbird Hurrah and Sauerkraut Days. Sauerkraut Days has tractor rides, Mini Rods, live music, festival food, a cabbage toss and more and has been celebrated in Henderson for over 80 years. It takes place in Bender Park which is one of many parks in Henderson. The Sibley County Historical Society is located in Henderson as well. The city has many attractions to visit, many of them that emphasize the importance of preserving history and tradition.
Le Sueur-Henderson (LSH) offers a rounded variety of co-curricular activities that help to build character, social skills, and exercise. There are 425 students in grades 9-12 and the High School offers over 80 courses. Le Sueur-Henderson School District's goal is for each student to have an appropriate, consistent, coordinated and challenging educational program. Curriculum Coordinators work with staff, parents and the community to keep the curriculum of the school at a high standard by conducting regular reviews and improvements of program areas regularly.
