Minneota Bus Service is located 150 miles southwest of Minneaoplis in Lyon County, Southwest Minnesota. Minneota has been a 4.0 community since 2005. 

Minneota is the home of the Minnesota Vikings.  The school district received a Bronze Medal for being one of the Best High Schools in America according to US News & World Report in 2009!   Minneota is comprised of mostly family farms and small businesses.    The town's festival every year isBoxelder Bug Days which has fun events for the whole family.
