East Central Bus Service is located near the city of Finlayson, in Pine County. Finlayson is approximately 100 miles northeast of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.

The East Central School District of 725 students encompasses the cities of Askov, Bruno and Kerrick. The School District is comprised of one central school serving Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.

East Central Bus Service has been providing student transportation for the School District since 2014.
